Well, what can we say… the story continues as we fast approach 2021 when we celebrate our 30th year in business. As many would agree… we will leave 2020 at that for now and cannot wait for a new year and new hope of some normality returning to the business. But watch this space, as we have exciting places for 2021 with expansion on both a high Street and Digital level.

With the changing High Street trends, we were sorry to wave goodbye to our Hazel Grove office, the A6 will always hold a fond place in our hearts, however the A6 proved to have less footfall over the latter months of us being there. With this, we decide our Flagship Bramhall Office was able to take over the sale and letting of property in and around Hazel Grove. Call 0161 440 8700 for a valuation in Hazel Grove. We have up to 30 parking spaces at our Bramhall Office so coming to see us here, has already proven easier for many of our Hazel Grove clients.

Our new and improved Lettings Department was re-born! Run by David Mone (Lettings Director) the lettings department has the added advantage of Lee Snape (Director of Sales & Lettings) plus Richard Pickford also (Director of Sales & Lettings) forming a powerful trio of Marketing excellence, and industry knowledge. David has run large property portfolios and offers an almost 24/7 service, with his mobile number available for all clients to call upon. Still privately owned and ran by Andrew Snape, Richard Pickford and Lee Snape we are proud to be the longest established independent agent who has offices based in SK7, SK8 and SK12. You've heard that saying - "If you don't try something different you'll never know" well that really applied to us in 2013 but for many therefore 2016 was one of our best years in terms of a decision we made. After 3 years, away from Maple House we moved back to Maple House from Woodford Road. As our lettings department no longer occupied that building post us selling that part of the business we asked for feedback about should we stay put or move back home as most people called it! and the feedback was overwhelming that the large glitzy office on Woodford Road, was not something people really wanted and felt the smaller friendlier atmosphere of Maple House was much preferred. Clients now enjoy car parking as they used to and an office which worked brilliantly for sales for 23 years, with great display windows and a position close to the busy public car parks for the village.

In 2015 company owners, Andrew Snape, Daniel Moore & Richard Pickford made the difficult decision to accept an offer from a company to purchase our separately run Lettings Business. With the legislation changes surrounding lettings and the offer which was on face value “too good to turn down” we decided it would make sense to accept the offer and for 3 years agreed not to deal in lettings as a result. NOTHING has changed in terms of the ownership of the company and the simple fact is, we do not deal with lettings until 2018 and then will be able to re-enter that sector of the industry if we decide to having allowed time for the new legislations to settle and offer an even more streamlined service which will ensure both landlords and tenants get the exceptional service they deserve.

In 2013 Our company expanded even further; Our Bramhall sales department have a beautiful BRAND NEW CORNER PLOT OFFICE in the centre of Bramhall with eye catching presence offering an abundance of advertising space! Lettings have benefitted from this and now OCCUPY THEIR OWN DETACHED OFFICE at Maple House. Also in 2013 We opened our Poynton office was to provide yet more coverage for our clients. Located on Park Lane in Poynton this latest addition to the Snape offices has already proved a popular move for those serious about selling. Snape Estate Agents’ absolute main focus is the SELLING and LETTING of property in each of the locations and the surrounding areas where we have offices.

In 2012 One of the biggest changes in appearance for our company was launched with “Snapes” becoming our name and the big yellow 'S' becoming our new image and logo. Whilst this has catapulted the company even further into being one of the most recognisable in our industry, nothing has changed in terms of management, with Andrew, Daniel and Richard, each working 6 days a week in support of the Branch Managers and excellent sales staff to ensure the company pushes forward and becomes even better at what we do.

In 2010 we opened our Hazel Grove and this formed a powerful triangle of coverage for Hazel Grove, Bramhall, Cheadle Hulme and its surrounding areas, the Hazel Grove office is now managed by Lee Snape MNAEA, dipDEA.

In 2009 Richard Pickford MNAEA, dipDEA became a company director after serving as a manager at the Snapes Cheadle Hulme office from 2001 to 2010.

In 2007 to assist the growth of the lettings department, we opened a new Bramhall Lettings Office and we are delighted to have our full Lettings team over in Bramhall complementing our established Sales service. Our lettings services are also available at Cheadle Hulme and our new Hazel Grove office, ensuring we have complete coverage of the SK1, SK2, SK3, SK6, SK7, SK8, SK10 & SK12 post code sectors.

In 2000 Daniel Moore MNAEA, ARLA joined the company as a director and also to take over the running of the Bramhall office. Daniel also works 6 days a week, ensuring the theme of a hands on owner run firm is maintained.

In 1999 the Cheadle Hulme office was opened on Station Road to add to the coverage offered by the company and this office is the base for Andrew himself who is still a key member of the company working 6 days a week, offering vital experience to all of the team members. Our Cheadle Hulme Office is managed by James Calthorpe MNAEA, dipDEA.

In 1994 a key stage in the company's development was being voted as the panel estate agent and representative in the area for Cartus the Worlds largest relocation company, with clients very relevant to the UK such as the BBC, Marks and Spencer and many of the National Banks.

In 1991 Andrew Snape first opened the doors of the then named "Andrew Snape Qualified Estate Agents" which is now known as Snapes Estate & Letting Agents after its rebranding in 2012. Andrew saw an opening in Bramhall for a privately owned independent firm, dedicating itself and specialising in the local area in the face of the large corporate agencies, banks and building societies who were playing an ever increasing part and was quickly able to make his mark.

We have embraced technology to bring all the benefits of modern estate agency to our customers and continue to strive to never lose touch with our customers. We endeavour to use technology in all areas to get maximum results whilst always continuing to offer excellent customer service. You might say we are both high tech and high touch.
