Website Data Collection & Digital Communications Data Use

When you visit and navigate our site and when you communicate with us via our site, we will not collect personal information about you unless you provide us that information voluntarily by completing the forms within our website. We are assured these third-party companies only use your data for the purpose of powering our systems enabling us to deliver relevant information about property and the property market or carrying out your request for further information on a product and/or service. The data is not passed on to other third parties by them, unless they receive your explicit consent.

Referrals or Quotation Data Use

The use of your information for obtaining quotations for you such as solicitors, surveyors and mortgages will only be used with your explicit consent. This is typically something you have asked for and not something we just send out.

Social Media Data Collection General

When you contact us in other ways, i.e Telephone, Office Visit, email communication, Social media Site etc, our systems may store some information due to the platforms you have used. You can request information to be deleted at any point, however we may need to contact third-party companies for their assistance in removing your details, such as Facebook, Twitter etc. The information on Social Media Site, would have been generated by you however, as you would have commented, like or interacted with our various media platforms. For this reason, you accept we have not collected nor are storing the information without your consent, you have accepted the Privacy Policy of those Social Media Platforms and understand you posted your details, as we will never contact people on Social media, we will only react and reply to questions and/or comments. Information collected by third-party Social Media Sites are not within our control.

Direct Contact Data Collection

Face to Face, Telephone or email communications by you, may result in data being stored for up to 6 years. This is in line with our obligations under ICO and other legislative requirements to carry out our business obligations lawfully. Any information given will be stored securely and/or destroyed securely when required. No information will be passed to third parties unless you consent, however your information may be used with our Service Communications Providers which power our systems to ensure you receive the information you have requested, such as and not limited to Property Updates, Sales Updates, Solicitor Referrals, Survey Referrals, Moving Quotations, Mortgage Advice, Property News, Property Market News, Sales Progress Updates, Lettings Property, Topical Industry Information which is deemed as contact for legitimate reasons.

Your Rights Over Your Information

How we store your information

Your information is securely stored on the cloud using our CRM system powered by BrightLogic also known as Acquaint.

Your information may also be stored on our local secure computers and or paper-based files, dependent on how we communicate with you and for what reason.

We keep your information for no longer than is required, however dependent on the detail of our relationship we may be required by law and legislation to retain your data and our communications for a period of up to 6 years.

We will then dispose your information by secure data deletion and encrypting and/or secure waste disposal (each dependent on the method in which we have communicated)

Any content read or sent between us, you and/or any third party, is not to be consider a contract in full or part nor is to be considered a formal offer from us or whom the content refers to.  All prices on our website and any marketing we send are subject to contract and any reference to valuations or property prices are a snapshot of time. Prices can go up and down in line with market conditions and various factors which are out of our control. The information on this website or anything sent to you in any format may have a shelf life and therefore the information is no longer relevant. We reserve the right to amend information and may not be able to notify all parties of changes made.

Commissions, Referral Fees Rights to Retain

If you have given consent for us to recommend certain services, including and not limited to: Surveys, Solicitors, Mortgages, House Clearance or removals, we may receive a commission or referral fee in certain circumstances but not in all cases and we reserve the right without exception to retain the income received. The amounts can vary; therefore we cannot disclose such amounts on a generic bases, however we are happy to inform you of the amount if applicable (specific to your case) once we know the commission amount ourselves. These commissions may be subject to clawback, completion of a service or just upfront for a recommendation. Again information can be provided if required, but only specific to your case.
